   Created things were nothing at all, then came to exist with particular attributes selected from innumerable alternatives.

   Specifying existence over non-existence, and one attribute rather than its equivalents, can proceed only from a choosing agent possessed of knowledge and will.

   Whatever cannot bring itself into being is less able to bring another into being; so the Originator cannot be any created thing.

﴿هَٰذَا خَلْقُ اللَّهِ فَأَرُونِي مَاذَا خَلَقَ الَّذِينَ مِنْ دُونِهِ ...﴾

Origination from nothing therefore belongs to God alone, and His being unique in it indicates that He alone is divine and deserving of worship.
