The ruling on purifying with vessels of gold and silver

Is using vessels of gold and silver forbidden, and is purification from them valid?

Hanafi

Using gold and silver vessels for eating, drinking, and purification is forbidden, yet purification from them is valid though sinful.

Maliki

Using and acquiring gold and silver vessels is forbidden, even for a woman, yet purification from them is valid though sinful.

Shāfiʿī

Using them for purification and otherwise is forbidden, yet purification with them is valid despite the prohibition.

Hanbali

Using gold and silver vessels for purification and otherwise is forbidden; whoever performs ablution from them, his ablution is valid though sinful.
