A Prayer Whose Time Had Begun When Menstruation Set In Before It Was Performed
If the time began while she was pure and then menstruation set in before she prayed, must she make up that prayer after becoming pure?
She does not make it up, since the obligation only settles at the end of the time; if she menstruated within it, it fell from her.
She does not make it up if she menstruated within the extended time — unless she had delayed it until the time no longer sufficed to perform it with her purification, in which case she makes it up.
She makes it up if enough of the time had passed to accommodate the prayer and her purification, and she was able to perform it but did not.
She makes it up if, before menstruating, she caught as much of its time as the opening takbīr, since the prayer is caught by the opening takbīr within its time.
